first off i dont know where the bands name was taken from.what 56 means haha? maybe their sound tell all about this haha.56 stabwound is from philippines and pretty new band there.i just found this band in this month.the band logo impressed me alot when i saw it.its really gorey and well complicated. the bands sound remind me of devourment and some riffs are very similar to devourments slams and breakdown.philippines has some guttural styled brutal death bands.but this band is really persuing devourment way and differnt from other philipin bands.so 56 stabwound plays chuggy slam and breakdown riffs.and the band has twin vocals which are gutturals vox. and squeals. the recording is raugh but you can hear some good essences of devourment and so expect more brutality from their next stuff,the band has potential to create this kinda stuff and the band is gonna be more heavier guttural slamming band for sure.
