here's a fairly new band from new york with a unique and strange name to at the least, i didn't think the band would take the music seriously judging from their name but after i listened to the first song i was blown away by their sound. the band sounds a lot like devourment from the molesting the decapitated era as far as slow parts go and the vocals are of course low gutturals one of the lowest vocals i've heard recently which also remind me of devourment especially when wayne knupp was doing vocals. the guitar riffs are chunky and chuggy with each song on this demo clocking in at about only two minutes long so the songs may end soon but they give an intense impact while there moving along. so this band has a lot of potential and will surely make something unique from the typical devourment sound that they employ now so check this demo out and make sure to check out their next release whenever it's available. Holy shit, these guys don't fuck around!!!!!! Total fucken' low and breakdown madness. Plenty of machine-gun drum machine blasts. Gurgles sure to make you shit yourself.They even throw in some crazy powerelectronics between breaks. This is a fucken' powerhouse from Japan. I know when some people hear that a band uses "inhaled gurgles" they think it's gonna sound stupid. Not the case here!!!!!! These vocals are super sick. I dunno how this guy makes these noises! You can tell they're real though. The riffs go from absolutely low breaks, to Spawn Of Possession style fills! It's really fucken' cool to hear with a band this brutal. You can't really get more brutal sounding than these guys. There's a ton of talent in this band. The drum machine sounds cool, too. None of that choppy cymbol stuff or anything like that. Pretty much, you'll be saying HOLY SHIT! through the entire listen of this cd. I've had it replaying in my car for a couple days now. I don't think I'm gonna take it out either haha. This dude really likes to gurgle. I fucken' love that shit. ~Brian |
