to me this demo is probably one of the best demos i've heard this year! embludgeoned is a new band from PENNSYLVANIA that takes there influences from two sides of death metal, one would be devourment styled slam oriented bands and the other would be some beatdown styled hardcore bands. you'll understand what i mean after you listen to this demo. this demo consists of 3 songs plus 7 live tracks and music wise the vocals are croaky like gurgles that remind me of a bit of neil of ex-dyscrasia, and plerosis. there's no hardcore screams and no mediocre vocals just some sick ass gurgles and the riffs are pretty diverse and its kinda like devourment breakdowns meets hardcore styled grooves. this demo is always in my play list i listen to it constantly. all the songs are heavy and brutal as fuck with cool slams all over the place so if you like this kind of music you'll love this band so don't miss out on this demo. New release on Grotesque Productions from Spain. Embryonic Devourment is made up of highly talented veteran musicians who are just fucking absolutely amazing. Watching their live experience is spent exercising the eyes. You have to turn your head constantly to watch in amazement as you see all the hands and fingers fly. This new cd will deffinately give you the idea! Tracks are: 1.Beheaded By Volition, 2.Desanctifying The Mediterranean, 3.Bush For Disembowelment, 4.Demon In The Sea, and 5.Mutiny. Extremely fast and incredibly unique all the way around. You can hear the bass very nicely behind those outrageously played solo-like riffs. None of that lame technical shit with these guys. Just insane shredding madness. They break down too, but their breaks aren't like your typical brutal death. The breaks have an odd feel to them that sound fucken' cool as hell. They're well thought out and there's no question about it. You deffinately wanna move to this shit! I could try to explain in more detail individually about how the guitars/bass/drums are fucken' insanely fast and all over the place, but that pretty much sums it up about the whole speed factor. They really work together very well. On top of everything else, you have the nice, guttural vocals. There are some cool highs almost screaming, too. Everything about this disc is cool and original sounding. ~Brian

when i heard songs at first,i just thought this band is from usa due to their ultra blasting guttural sound.but to tell the truth, this is french band haha.i didnt know this kind of bands from there but most bands i know are beatdown styled and slam oriented bands.but this band makes me break from this prejudice. the band name embryonic disgorgement says all about what their sound is.they play ultra sick style music and the band reminds me of my fav band enmity alot as i said.from beginning to end they play ultra fast and brutal riffs.and thers occasional slams and slow parts.drums are programmed maybe and vocals are low as fuck.i really love total sound they create.im so happy that this kinda band showed up.this band really kills. this promo includes only two songs but its enough to know how ther are gifted and skilled.i really watch out for thier debut release.so this band is for fans of enmity.dont miss it!!! Enmity - Illuminations of vile engorgement

For those of you that aren't familiar with Enmity,they are a ultra brutal death metal band from Tucson,AZ. This band is definately not for people that want that melodic bull-shit. This is one of the most straight forward brutal bands I've ever heard. A lot of people might not know,but the only two guys remaining in this band are both brothers. Rob & Chad Weber. Just like in there previous efforts on Amuptated Vein Records"VOMIT FORTH INTESTINAL EXCREMENT", Enmity cums back to unleash another pulverising album of fast pounding double bass blast beats played to slow riffs to create a very brutal sound that I can't really compare to any other band. On this new cd "ILLUMINATIONS OF VILE ENGORGEMENT" they showcase their unique style of brutality in 11 punishing new tracks. This time around Enmity have decided to release this cd with Permeated Records. This new cd is definately a lot better, more brutal, and faster then the last cd, but still has the same style as the last cd. If you were happy with the first cd from these guys I would definately recommend this album to you. If you haven't heard these guys yet and you're a fan of the most brutal music, you should definately pick up this cd. On this new cd they also do something that most brutal bands are scared to do, which is an acoustic guitar solo. It will not disapoint though, it sounds very good and shows the talent behind this brutal beast of a band. Something that some people don't realize is that this band has never got the chance to do a tour because they need a singer. So far they have only been a studio band since the vocalist is the drummer. I really look forward to see what these guys will do next. If you are a fan of the most brutal form of death metal check these guys out. If you're a pussy that can't handle heaviness, don't waste your time. -Grant/Artery Eruption

Eviscerated - Suicide By Self-Disembowelment

The newest addition to the TXDM scene done NYDM style, we have Eviscerated's Suicide By Self-Disembowelment. You know right when you hear their name and title there's gonna be plenty of chugging slams, so be prepared for a nice pounding you fuckers. Track list consists of "Fetal Consumption, Suicide By Self-Disembowelment, and Seminal Explosion". You got your classic sicko fantasy right there. Eat a fetus, rip your guts out in the Devourment tradition, then cum all over the place. Fuck yeah haha! You got your manditory sick sense of humor samples so don't worry gore fans. They don't have a great name for nothing. Their awesome name doesn't go to waste, if you were worried in other words. They fulfill your "Effigy Of The Forgotten" style blasts, just a bit faster, occasional thrash beats, and "Butchered At Birth" style vocals with occasional crickets which is awesome for variety. I'm so glad yet another band can come out of Texas and be brutal in a slightly original way. That's hard you know, so don't criticize so harshly. They're riffs are fast here and there, but there's mostly chugging going on here, which is great to get you moving in the right direction. Fucking violently of course. You can't help but headbang to these riffs. Come on! How can you resist these old Internal Bleeding style mid-paced grooves? If you like lots of slow double bass, with plenty of chugging breakdowns then this is the band you need to check out right the fuck now. There will always be the critics to say "They have too many slow parts." If you're one of these people, keep buying the stuff with no breakdowns and flawless production that you can find at any store. There you have it chug-a-lug hounds. Great transitions with switches to keep you happy so it's not all the same pace, and a good production to enforce your satisfaction. Oh and the snare sound is awesome. Nice little resonation but not too much. Just a nice hollow and high sound. You know you can't get enough of this shit and that's why you're here so look 'em up. /Brian ARTERY ERUPTION
